ATM
ATM Rating: 48 out of 100 based on 7 reviews.
After leaving their company Christmas Party together, David Hargrove and Emily Brandt's impromptu first date takes an unexpected turn when their coworker, Corey, asks them to make a late-night stop at an ATM. What should be a routine transaction turns into a desperate struggle for survival when an unknown man appears outside the vestibule. With the wintry temperatures dipping below freezing, and the morning sunrise still hours away, they have no choice but to play the man's deadly game of cat-and-mouse. -- (C) IFC

An ATM machine that comes up empty and proclaims you're out of cash, may not be the worst thing in the world. At least if director David Brooks apparently has any say, with his nerve-shredding electronic chiller, ATM.

You get an impression early in ATM as to how much Sparling and Brooks are trying to pad their screenplay out. They don't just let us know Peck's character is a jerk, they make it evident in every action he does and everything he says in the first...
